How do I choose which emails I get?

Open Privacy in Settings and use its two switches, Product emails and Study activity emails. You can also unsubscribe from any weekly email with one click.

Fiuto sends at most one email a week. It can carry two kinds of email, and you choose each one separately.

Product emails are our weekly note: what shipped and one tip for better studies. At most once a week. One click to unsubscribe.

They go only to people who said yes. Fiuto asks once in the app, and you can choose Yes or No thanks. Closing the note counts as no thanks.

Study activity emails are updates on your own studies, like new responses since last week, a launched study with no responses yet, or responses waiting in your results. They come either way unless you turn them off.

  1. Open Settings, then select Privacy.
  2. Turn Product emails or Study activity emails on or off.

The switch moves only once Fiuto has saved your choice, so it always shows what you will get. If a save fails, the switch stays where it was. Select Retry to try again.

Every weekly email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and your mail app’s unsubscribe button works too.

The link opens a page where you tick which emails to stop. Product emails are ticked by default, and study activity emails are not. If the email carried only one kind, the page names it instead. Select Continue. Your account and studies stay as they are.

Your mail app’s own unsubscribe button stops everything that email carried. Use the link in the email instead if you want to keep one kind.

Sign-in emails still arrive either way.

Turn either switch back on in Settings, under Privacy.
