What does each AI action cost?

Fiuto’s AI actions are priced in credits. Some actions cost a fixed number of credits every time; chat turns are priced in bands, set after you send. This page lists the current live prices, when each action charges you, and what your monthly credit grant covers.

Fixed-price actions

1. Plan generation: 120 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.
2. Single-study analysis: 80 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.
3. Insight deck generation: 40 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.
4. AI deck edit: 20 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.
5. Study results read: 20 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.

Chat actions (banded)

1. Study-scoped chat turn: charged in one of four bands, 20, 40, 80, or 160 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.
2. Project-scoped cross-study chat turn: charged in one of four bands, 20, 40, 80, or 160 credits. Live on every tier, including Free.

A chat turn’s charge is never shown before you send. It is set after the message is sent, at the smallest of the four bands (20, 40, 80, or 160 credits) that covers that message’s actual size. The charge never exceeds 160 credits, however large the message.

The minimum to start a priced action

Every priced action, fixed-price or banded, needs at least 20 credits in your balance to start. Below that minimum, an account cannot start a new priced action until its balance tops up or resets. An action at or above the minimum charges the lesser of its price and what remains in your balance, so your balance never goes below zero.

For a chat message specifically: sending one requires at least 20 credits. If your remaining balance is below the band the message would otherwise cost, only the remaining balance is charged.

When you’re charged

• Single-study analysis charges once, after it finishes. It is never charged while running or if it does not complete, and re-running an already-finished analysis does not charge a second time.
• Insight deck generation and AI deck edit charge only when their result is kept: never for an attempt that fails, and never for a draft discarded before it is applied.
• A chat turn (study-scoped or cross-study) charges once, after it is sent, at the band described above. A message that fails to send is not charged.

The 300-credit monthly grant

Every account on the Free tier gets 300 AI credits a month, refreshed monthly once its email is verified. Spent on one action type at a time, that is enough for:

1. 2 plan generations
2. 3 single-study analyses
3. 7 insight deck generations
4. 15 AI deck edits

Each of these four numbers assumes the whole grant goes to that one action alone. Mixing action types divides the 300 differently.

Your first analysis is free

Separate from the monthly grant: the first single-study analysis your account ever completes costs nothing. It does not draw from your 300 monthly credits, and using it does not reduce what the grant gives you afterward. Every single-study analysis after that first one costs the standard 80 credits.
